Obituary for Arthur Lovejoy
Arthur Lovejoy, age 85, of Knox, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016. Arthur was born August 13, 1930 in Logan, West Virginia to Hallie and Corbie Williams Lovejoy, both deceased. He is survived by his sons, Dallas Lovejoy of Knox and Edward Lovejoy of Florida, a sister, Alice Lovejoy of Ohio, a special friend, Little Prissy, 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Dillon Lovejoy, brothers, Alfred and Roger Lovejoy, sisters, Marcella Ellis and Sylvia May, and step-children, Eva Gay Marcum, Sammy, George, Freddy and Brady Dillion. There will be no services. Interment will be private. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
