Obituary for Stanley Grigsby
Stanley Grigsby, age 64, of Knox, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at I.U. LaPorte Hospital. Stanley was born July 15, 1951 in Chicago to Rebel and Matilda (Kasse) Grigsby, both deceased. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army and had worked many years as a CNC Machinist. On April 29, 1978 he married Marcelle Nowicki, she survives. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Jacqueline Nowicki of Winamac, his children, Dawn Salazar (Armondo) of Wilmette, Illinois, Jason Grigsby (Heather) of Chicago, Illinois, Brandie Grigsby of Punta Gorda, Florida, Jeffery Grigsby of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Erik Grigsby of Knox, and Danielle Grigsby of Knox, brothers and sisters, Willie Miller of Stanton, Kentucky, Arnold Miller of Jackson, Kentucky, Wallace Grigsby of Chicago, Illinois, Bitha Bickel of Knox, Patricia Grigsby of Winamac, and Mary Noble of North Judson, 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 3 grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 4-8pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, August 14, 2015 at 10am (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Interment is private.
