Josephine Hoffmann, age 74, of Knox, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Josephine was born June 17, 1941, in Hazzard, Kentucky to Doke and Stella (Hale) Griffith, both deceased. On June 17, 1961, she married Nick Hoffmann Jr., he preceded her in death on July 7, 2013. She is survived by her children, Robert E. Hoffmann and Susan M. Hoffmann, both of Knox, brother and sisters, Irene Burdine (Carl) of LaPorte, William Griffith (Debbie) of Knox, Nadine Paegel (Walter) of Kansas, and Brenda Clabaugh (Tom) of Louisiana. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Karen Hoffmann. No services are planned at this time.
