Obituary for Bonnie G. Herdina
Bonnie G. Herdina, age 72, of Knox, Indiana, passed away May 19, 2015. Bonnie was born November 9, 1942 in Chicago Heights, Illinois, to Michael and Bertha (Kobak) Baranski, both deceased. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Peter Herdina, a brother, Jerome (Florence) Baranski; a niece, Karen (Dave) Scola, Justin and Kyle; a niece, Nancy (Steve) Saucedo; a nephew, Michael (Dawn) Baranski, Alec and Dean. She was the Dearest Grandma Bonnie to the Robert (Denise) Molitsky and Joseph (Deanne) Shimala families. Bonnie worked as an account supervisor for Sears and retired after 40 years of service. Bonnie enjoyed planting and tending to her lavish garden. She was cherished and will truly be missed by her family, neighbors, and many friends in the Bass Lake community. The family would like to express sincere appreciation for the compassionate care of Dr. Thomas Browne. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be Friday, May 22, 2015 from 4-7pm at the M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Saturday May 23, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
