Obituary for Marie Chapek
Marie Chapek, age 88, of Knox, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Marie was born May 29, 1926 in Whiting, IN to Michael and Maria Lofay, both deceased. On November 28, 1946 she married Bernard W. Chapek. He preceded her in death on December 29, 2010. She is survived by her children, Nancy Hoffman (Jim) of Chesterton, IN and Robert Chapek (Cindy) of Santa Rosa Valley, CA, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 9:30-11:00am (CT) at the M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 11:00am (CT) at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Knox. Interment is private.
