Obituary for Lois Carol Fisher
Lois Carol Fisher, age 70, of North Judson, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at her home. Lois was born September 27, 1944 in Salyersville, Kentucky to Alex and Emily (Penix) Jackson, both deceased. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, and an active member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Knox. On October 14, 1961, she married Cecil "Jim" Fisher, he survives. Also surviving are her children, Tammy Dolezal of New Carlisle, IN, Jim Fisher (Lynn) of Bolingbrook, IL, and Vicki Economos (Tony) of Elburn, IL, two sisters, Rose Wireman of North Judson and Katie Jackson (Bill) of North Judson, a brother, Larry Jackson (Ann) of Bow, KY, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister and 5 brothers. Visitation will take place Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 5-8pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. Funeral services will take place Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 11:00am (CT), with visitation one hour prior to services, at the New Hope Baptist Church in Knox. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church.
