Obituary for Norma Koenig
Norma L. Koenig, age 89, of Knox, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014. Norma was born May 7, 1925 in Knox, to Edwin and Meta (Gerstandt) Koenig, both deceased. Norma had worked as Branch Manager of the Pioneer Bank and had been a Deputy Clerk of the Circuit Court and was a very active member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Norma is survived by a brother, Maurice Koenig of Knox, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Delores Metz and Doris Koenig. Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014 from 9:30am until time of services, which are 11am (CT) at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Knox. Interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
