Obituary for Marcille "Marcy" Cervone
Marcille "Marcy" Cervone, age 93, of Knox, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014. Marcy was born March 8, 1921 in Elwood, Indiana. She is survived by her three children, Nancy (Zig) Zellmer, Jana (John) Higgerson, and Bill Cervone, and two grandchildren, Todd (Mindy) Higgerson and Ashley (Dallas) Zellmer. Marcy was a well known musician who traveled with her late husband, Jack, on many shows during the 1940's & '50's before settling in North Hammond, Indiana and playing piano at many establishments in the area. She moved to Bass Lake in 2010 to play at the Bass Lake Pub and Ristorante and played there until her death. She was greatly loved by all. A memorial and celebration of her life will be on August 31, 2014 from 1-3pm (CT) at the Bass Lake Pub and Ristorante.
