Obituary for Carol Irene Brown
Carol Irene Brown, age 83, of Knox, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Carol was born December 30, 1930 in Wabash, IN to Raymond and Alberta (Young) Trisler, both deceased. She had worked for many years at Starke Memorial Hospital as an X-Ray Technician. She married Howard M. Brown in 1950 in St. Louis, he survives. Also surviving are her children, Richard M. Brown of Indianapolis, Robert R. Brown of Springfield, MO, and Ria G. Lukes of Kokomo, a sister, Alyce Chandler of North Carolina, a brother, William F. Trisler of Georgia, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11:00am (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowere memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice, 901 S. Woodland Ave., Michigan City, IN 46360.
