Obituary for Ethel Thiery
Ethel Thiery, age 87, of Chicago, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Ethel was born July 9, 1926 in Chicago to Raymond and Lillian Faulk Thiery, both deceased. She is survived by one sister, Renee Potter of Knox, Nephews, Billy Ray Howard, John Cruz, David Cruz, Joseph Cruz, Raymond Cruz, and Leonardo Cruz, Nieces, Michele Hebda, Bridget Thiery and Brenda Thiery, 11 great nieces and nephews and 8 great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Lillian Howard and Dorothy Cruz, and brothers, Frank and John Thiery. Funeral mass will take place Monday, March 24, 2014 at 11:00am (CT) at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Knox. Interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
