Obituary for Richard L. McCarty
Richard L. McCarty, age 77, of Knox, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013. He was born February 15, 1936 in Robinson, IL. On July 2, 1955 he married Marilyn Taylor McCarty, she survives. Also surviving are his children, Janet Howells (Mark) of Grandville, MI, David McCarty (Colleen) of Culver, Tim McCarty (Stacy) of Warsaw, and Melinda Slippy (Matthew) of Cedar Rapids, IA, 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11:00am, with visitation one hour prior to services at the M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Highland Cemetery in North Judson.
