Obituary for Ida S. Finkbiner
Ida S. Finkbiner, age 98, of Culver, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013. Ida was born February 6, 1915 in North Judson to Erdman and Mary (Budka) Bachert, both deceased. She is survived by her children, Doris Humes of Plymouth, Loraine Crum (Paul) of Culver, Kenneth Finkbiner (Carol) of Plymouth, and Ernest Finkbiner of Culver, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Finkbiner, sisters, Nora Liskey, Helen Kain, Wilma Benson, Dorothy Pitts, and brothers, William Bachert, Ora Bachert, and George Bachert. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 11:00am (CT), with visitation one hour prior to services at Eagle Creek Church in Knox. Interment will take place at the Burr Oak Cemetery. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
