Obituary for Wendell Reed
Wendell Reed, age 55, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Knox, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013. Wendell was born May 23, 1958 in Knox to Paul and Edna (Matheney) Reed. He had worked at the Culver Academies. He is survived by his mother, Edna Reed of Knox, a son, Christopher Reed of Knox, sisters, Wanda Reed of Fort Wayne, Lillian Harris of Knox, and Eilene Hopkins of Knox, a brother, Phillip Reed of Plymouth, and three grandsons. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Barbara Brown. Funeral services will be Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013 at 1:00pm, with visitation two hours prior to services, at the M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. Interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox.
