Obituary for Patricia Blount Napier
Patricia Blount Napier, age 72, of Knox, passed away surrounded by her family at her home on Friday, April 19, 2019. Pat was born December 1, 1946 in Chicago to Roy J. Blount and Ruth Hartley Blount, both deceased. She is survived by her children, Ray Napier Jr. (Jeanelle) of Mesa, AZ, Hazel Clemons (Steve) of Knox, Daniel Napier (Carolyn) of Marysville, KS, Sheila Johnson (Dan) of Knox, Ruth Thompson (David) of Huntington, IN, Rebecca Kahn (Zaki) of Sugar Land, TX and Alexander Napier of Sugar Land, TX, brothers, William Blount (Cheryl) of Campbellsville, KY, Leroy Blount (the late Ana Mae) of Morocco, IN, and David Blount (Cynthia) of LaPorte, IN, grandchildren, Megan, Desirae, Katrina, Samantha, Samuel, Clara, Josiah, Steven, Freddie, Eli, Zayn, Hisham, Basmah, Isra, Ali, Enaya and Faizah, and one great grandson, Robert. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Napier Sr., a granddaughter, Shawnte’ Clemons, brothers, Robert, Daniel and Jess Blount, and a sister, Ruth Osborne. Funeral services will be Monday, April 22, 2019 at 7:00pm (CT), with visitation from 3:00pm (CT) until time of services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery at a later date.
