Obituary for Lola Howard
Lola Howard, age 89, of Knox, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Lola was born April 4, 1936 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to Branch Jordan Sr. and Jane (Howard) Jordan, both deceased. On November 3, 1956 she married Otto “Joe” Howard, he preceded her in death on November 11, 2011. She is survived by a daughter, Kim Brown (Pete) of Knox, a sister, Bobette Mann of Knox, a brother, Branch Jordan Jr. of Knox, grandchildren, Erin McCormick (Darin), Lauren Brown (Chett Mueller), Katie Holbrook (Tim), Paul Howard, Lily Howard, and Lucas Howard (Katie), great grandchildren, Kendall Pfost (Olivia), Keaton Pfost, Briley McCormick, Ocean Holbrook, Echo Holbrook and Wyatt Howard, and a great great granddaughter, Kenna Pfost. She was preceded in death by a son, Keith Howard, and brothers and sisters, Geneva Childers, Beaureda Owens, Earl Jordan, Ethel Tolson, Rosie Campbell, Freda Shelhart, Dick Jordan, Paul Jordan and Barbara Nimon. A private family service and burial at Round Lake Cemetery has taken place. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
