Obituary for Julie Dieden Gillespie
Julie Dieden Gillespie, age 84, of Tuscon, Arizona, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at her home. Julie was born July 29, 1934 in Kokomo, Indiana to Ray Dieden and Ruth Covington Dieden, both deceased. She loved her family, reading and living in the desert in her final years. She especially cherished Liz’s dogs, Myndi, Bella and Lucy. Julie was loved by all who knew her, especially the hospice nurses and support staff. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Wright of Tuscon, AZ, James P. Gillespie (Kaylynne) of Union, MI and Cathy Levy (Jeff) of Berrien Springs, MI, grandchildren, Lauren and Erica Levy and Troy and Todd Campenello, 5 great grandchildren, and a brother-in-law, Ray Alexander. She was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Alexander. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11am (CT) with visitation one hour prior to services, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Knox. Burial will follow at Bass Lake Cemetery in Knox.
