Obituary for Doris Jean Fawley
Doris Jean Fawley, age 81, of Knox, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018. Doris was born September 9, 1936 in Jackson, Kentucky to Alex and Flossie Rowe, both deceased. She married John H. Fawley he preceded her. She is survived by her children, Wanda Robert (David) of Knox, Martin Fawley (Vicki) of Winamac, John Fawley (Myra) of Knox, Sherry McCoy (Chuck) of Knox, Terry Fawley (Jennifer) of Winamac, Lisa Wagers (Steve) of Knox, and Alex Fawley (Julie) of Knox. Her surviving brothers and sisters, Lucy Pitts of Knox, Macella Hamilton of Knox, Margie Nash of LaPorte, Sonny Rowe of Knox, Goldie Singleton of Knox, and Marvin Rowe of Knox. 12, grandchildren and 5, great-grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her special companion, Andrew Smith, a son Kenneth Fawley, a grandson Adam Fawley, and daughter in law Debbie Fawley.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 30, 2018 at 12:00pm (CT), with visitation two hours prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home, 153 E Washington ST., Knox, IN 46534. Burial will take place at the Oak Park Cemetery in Knox, IN.
