Obituary for Jeane M. Cole
Jeane M. Cole, age 80, of Monterey, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017. Jeane was born July 22, 1937 in Chicago to Gustav and Mabel (Johnson) Helgeson, both deceased. She had been the owner of Cole and Associates Real Estate, was a member of the Bass Lake Lioness, Knox Women of the Moose, and was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Denham. On August 1, 1981 she married Paul Cole. He preceded her in death on June 22, 2012. She is survived by her children, Kristen Myers (Shawn) of Logansport, IN, Katrina Martens (Gary) of Walton, IN, Russell Bergner (Kim) of Knox, and Paul Cole Jr. (Phyllis) of Knox, 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will take place Monday, September 11, 2017 from 3-7pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 11am (CT) at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Denham. Burial will take place at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Denham.
