Obituary for Billy R. Howard
Billy R. Howard, age 73 of Knox, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017. Bill was born May 28, 1944 in Jackson, Kentucky to Chalmer and Stella (Pitts) Howard. Bill married Edith (Wright) Howard on December 28, 1965. She survives, also surviving are their children, Tony (Sarah) Howard of Westfield, IN and Kellie (John) Safford of Pendleton, IN. Sisters, Loretta Awald, Deborah Sunblade, Marilyn Noble, and a brother Mimard Howard. Grandchildren, Samantha Howard, and Jackson Bolden. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Roberta Burger, and brothers, Ellis Howard, Lonnie Howard, Harlas Howard. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
There will be a funeral luncheon following the graveside services at the Church of the Heartland.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 10-12pm at the M.C. Smith Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 12pm following the visitation at the M.C. Funeral Home. Burial will take place at the Round Lake Cemetery.
