Obituary for David H. Werth
David H. Werth, age 61, of Knox, passed away at his home on Friday, February 12, 2021. David was born January 17, 1960 in Chicago. He was a huge Cubs fan, loved shooting pool, and had been an outstanding bowler. He loved music, video games and board games, especially chess. He also loved animals, especially dogs, and the outdoors. He is survived by his mother, Lois Kutchke Werth of Crown Point, IN, his long-time companion, Nancy Weliczko of Knox, his brother, Norman Werth of Kenosha, WI, two stepsons, Richard Hammett of Knox and Steven Weliczko of Knox, three grandchildren, Eric, Savannah and Shyann, his nephew Matthew Werth of Austin, TX, and his niece, Theresa Werth of Waltham, MA. He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Werth.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 1pm (CT), with visitation one hour prior to services at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox.
