Obituary for Lauren Jael Schwartz
Lauren Jael Schwartz, 35, passed peacefully last Sunday, January 3, 2021, with family by her side. Lauren lived with Ken Latty in Jackson, MI, with their beloved cat, Chubs. She is preceded in death by her father, Garry Schwartz. She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Schwartz, her sisters, Mainon and Caitlin, her brothers, Ryan and Aaron, her uncle, Alan Wilson, and her maternal grandfather, Andrew Wilson.
Lauren studied accounting at Indiana University South Bend. Her heart for service led her to volunteer with YWAM, traveling to Amsterdam, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. She was a life-long learner, and enjoyed music, action movies, the beauty of nature, and a good slice of cheesecake.
More than anything, Lauren loved spending time with her family, especially her niece, Adalinn, and nephews, Ethan and Tennyson. She will be remembered for her bright smile, infectious laugh, and indomitable spirit.
