Obituary for William Joseph "Bill" Carter
William Joseph “Bill” Carter, age 48, of Knox, passed away Friday, November 6, 2020. Bill was born September 6, 1972 in Knox. Some of his favorite things were riding his Harley, bowling, being on the water boating, MOPAR cars and the Chicago Bears. He is survived by his parents, William D. “Bill” and Diana Carter of Knox, his daughter, Allison Carter of Inglis, Florida, and his brothers, Christopher C. Carter of Florida and Michael Carter of Knox. There will be visitation on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 from 6-8pm (CT) and Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 4-8pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 11am (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Hamlet.
