Obituary for Patricia A. "Patty" Lawson
Patricia A. Lawson, age 61, of Knox, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Patty was born August 11, 1958 in Knox to Dennis and Jewel Marshall Cole, both deceased. She was a member of the North Judson United Methodist Church and a singer in the Mustard Seed Band, an avid bingo player, loyal Cubs and Bears fan, and a devoted grandmother to her granddaughter, Astrid. On April 24, 1982, she married Donald Lawson, he survives. Also surviving are her children, Matthew Lawson of Renton, WA, and Mary Goertz (Paul) of Kirkland, WA, brothers and sisters, Willis Cole of Goshen, IN, Billy Cole of Knox, Albert Cole of North Judson, Janet Trader of Logansport, IN, Wanda Landrum of Knox, Connie Johnson of Knox, Denise Cole of Plymouth, and Bob Cole of Knox, her granddaughter, Astrid Goertz, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Roger Cole.
