Obituary for Steven Paul Kidder
Steven Paul Kidder, age 61, of Knox, passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 at his home. Steve was born July 13, 1959 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Stanislaus and Theresa Esther Kidder. He was a lifelong New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers Fan, a man who loved a perfect lawn and a loving family man, a good dad and grandfather. On October 27, 1989 he married Cyndi Mann, she survives. Also surviving are his mother, Esther Kidder of Port Allen, LA, his children, Shawn Kidder (Laura) of Knox, Stephanie Goins (Jason) of Knox, and Shauna Kidder of Knox, brothers and sisters, Clinton Kidder (Sandi) of Kenai, AK, Stan Kidder (Edith) of Houma, LA, Shannon Kidder (Renee) of Baton Rouge, LA, Louise Loftin (Henry) of Port Allen, LA, Cheryl Lehmann (Tom) of Ventress, LA, Janet Allemond (Keith) of Arnaudville, LA, Linda Gascon (Jody) of Prairieville, LA and Melissa Kidder of Port Allen, LA, grandchildren, Jada Jesuit (Lucas), Jasmine Kidder, Jaelynn Goins, Cameron Kidder, Matthew Goins, Jordynn Goins, and Braden Kidder. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanislaus Kidder.
A visitation will take place Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 4-8pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, July 17, 2020 at 11am (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Knox. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Knox-Center Township Fire Department.
