Obituary for William G. "Bill" Vallow
William G. “Bill” Vallow, age 74, of Knox, passed away at his home Monday, February 03, 2020. Bill was born February 21, 1945 in LaPorte, Indiana to Clyde Vallow and Cora Wieringa Vallow, both deceased. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force in Viet Nam. He was also a very active member of Knox VFW Post 748. On July 17, 1971, in Chicago, he married Kathy Penczek, she survives. Also surviving are his children, Tracie Marshall (Randy) of Portage, Indiana, Deanne Trentman (Ben) of Metamora, Illinois, and Bryan Vallow (Jennifer) of Richville, Minnesota, sisters, Nancy Morris (John) of Florida and Mary Chavez of Texas, and his grandchildren, Randi Miller (Matt), Jessica Hertl (Jacob), Payton Marshall, Sydney Trentman, Allison Trentman, and William Vallow. A visitation will take place Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 4-8pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 11am (CT) at M. C. Smith Funeral Home. Military graveside services and burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
