Obituary for William E. Spicer, Sr.
William E. Spicer, Sr., age 62, of Winchester, KY, formerly of Knox, passed away Tuesday, July 01, 2014. William was born November 4, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio to Willie and Julie (Tharpe) Spicer. He had worked for many years as a truck driver and a welder. He is survived by his children, Crystal Spicer of Rochester, IN, Martha Spicer of Alabama, William "Eddie" Spicer, Jr. (Kelley) of Knox, Jody Spicer of Monticello, IN, Kara Spicer of Winchester, KY, and Talbert Marshall of Florida, step children, Joy McCarthy (Tim) of Culver, IN, and Stephanie McCarthy (John) of Jacksonville, FL, a brother, Jim Spicer (Sue) of Knox, and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his long time companion, Ethel Marshall, and a brother, Dennis Spicer. Visitation will be Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 1-4pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, July 7, 2014 at 11am (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Knox.
