Obituary for William Dale "Bill" Neely
William Dale “Bill” Neely, age 77, of Hamlet, Indiana, passed away April 22, 2023 at his home. He loved spending time with his kids, grandkids and mostly his great granddaughters, Amarrah and Amiah. He loved travelling, new adventures, and going to amusement parks with his grandkids. He always lived his life to the fullest and looked for a new thrill. Surviving are his two children, Aimee Garrett (Dametreous) of Jackson, Michigan and Scott Neely of Vandercook, Michigan, one sister, Wanda Gilmore of Dothan, Alabama, two brothers, Leonard Neely of Arizona and James Neely (Candie) of Jerome, Michigan, his grandkids, Scott Neely, Lisa Neely, Jalynne Taylor, Chelsea Neely, Reginald Taylor, TeAonna Pledger, LaCarrion, Lariah and Harmony Williams, and great grandkids, Amarrah and Amiah Westbrook, Declan and Riley Neely, Viunca Taylor, and Dawson Neely, with Amir and Liah’lyn on the way. Also surviving are his very special friends, Hank and Connie Bailey and Rosie Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Helen Neely and a brother, Larry Neely. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. and the Navy Seabees.
