Obituary for William B. "Willie" Griffith
William B. “Willie” Griffith, age 70, of Knox, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020. Willie was born February 26, 1950 in Hazzard, Kentucky to Doke and Stella Hale Griffith, both deceased. He was a member of the Knox Sons of the American Legion, he loved fishing and he loved to work, having worked many years as a contractor. On February 1, 1986 he married Deborah Eskridge, she survives. Also surviving are his children, David Griffith, Timothy Eskridge, Jason Sims, and Casey Griffith Bailey, all of Knox, three sisters, Irene Burdine (Carl) of LaPorte, Nadine Paegel (Walt) of Kansas, and Brenda Clabaugh (Tom) of Louisiana, and six grandchildren, Joshua Griffith, Dakota Griffith, Chrisitian Clemons, Caitlin Clemons, Colton Clemons. He was preceded in death by a sister Josephine Hoffman. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
