Obituary for William "Cliff" Hattery
William Clifford “Cliff” Hattery, age 64, of Mishawaka, was called to his home in heaven Friday, March 17, 2017 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana. Cliff was born May 31, 1952 in Rochester, Indiana to the late Leonard and June (Decker) Hattery. On January 8, 2005, in Mishawaka, he married the love of his life Diana Kay Dawson Taberski.
Cliff lived a life of simplicity and was richer because of it. Cliff overcame a lot and was an inspiration to many. Cliff is survived by his wife Diana, three grandsons, Timmy Kraus, Nick and David Clevenger, a granddaughter, Laura Clevenger, a daughter, Kristine Clevenger (Jim) of Rochester, IN, a son, Jimmy Kraus (Patti) of South Bend, IN, a sister, Earlene Krueger (Rick) of Knox, a brother, Tom Gilbertson (Gale) of South Haven, IN, a nephew, Aaron Armes (Anne) of Knox, and a niece, Carla Gilbertson of South Haven, IN. Cliff will be missed by all that knew him. A graveside service will take place Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 1:00pm (CT) at Fletcher Cemetery in Hamlet, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the family would be appreciated.
