Obituary for Vivian F. Stack Adcock
Vivian F. Stack Adcock, age 69, of Knox, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Vivian was born in Chicago on January 16, 1953 to Jack Stack and Margaret Kelly Stack. Vivian is survived by her two sons, Raymond Boyd Jr. and Richard Boyd, grandchildren, Kevin, Gage, Paige, Bailey, Patrick, Briana, Ryan and Raymond, and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Margaret Stack, sisters, Patricia Stack Allen, Lorraine Bailey (James), Kathy Alexander (Jim), and Virginia Boyd (James), and brothers, William Stack and Jack Stack Jr.
Vivian has loved and raised many nieces and nephews. She was a kind soul and she gave the best advice and was always there for each and every family or friend. She was a great cook and always made her home warm and welcoming. She has fought a long battle with ovarian cancer, but remained so humble and positive during her long fight. No matter how much she was in pain or struggling, she always said she was fine when asked how she was doing. Vivian will be truly missed by all that knew her.
