Obituary for Vergie Lee Beauchamp
Vergie Lee Beauchamp, age 94, of Plymouth, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Vergie was born December 11, 1922 in Coeburn, Virginia to John and Lectte (Kiser) Rose, both deceased. On November 26, 1942, at Bass Lake, Indiana, she married Elden Beauchamp, he preceded her in death on February 13, 2013. She had been a member of the First Baptist Church of Knox. She is survived by a son, John Beauchamp (Lynn) of Plymouth, Indiana, and a sister, Avonelle Blevins of Virginia, 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, David A. Beauchamp and a grandchild. Funeral services will take place at the First Baptist Church of Knox on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11:00 am (CT) with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will take place at the Alexander Heinemann Cemetery in Ora, Indiana. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church of Knox.
