Obituary for Thomas J. McClellan
Thomas J. McClellan, age 57, of North Judson, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021. He was born July 18, 1964 in Hammond, Indiana to Charles McClellan and Mary Conway McClellan, both deceased. He was a Veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps. He loved riding motorcycles and belonged to ABATE. He also loved spending time with his children and his grandkids. He was a truck driver and had worked for many years for D&S Express, with his faithful shih tzu, Poppy, riding shotgun. On May 19, 1998 he married Sheri Hendrix, she survives. Also surviving are his children, Anthony McClellan of Florida, Joshua McClellan (Kayla) of Plymouth, Elizabeth McLaughlin (Christopher) of Argos, Jordan Probus (John) of Knox and Logan McClellan (Nichole) of Plymouth, his sisters, Marlis Garner of Knox, Cindy Browning (Tony) of Knox, Barb Solberg of Monterey, and Clara McClellan of Rochester, grandchildren, Austin, Nicholas, Abby, Emily, JJ, Colt, Eli, Alex, Kadyn, and Lonnie, and his step-mother Donna Sowards of North Judson. He was preceded in death by a brother, Marty McClellan.
A celebration of life will take place Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 3pm (CT), with visitation three hours prior to Veteran Honor Guard Services at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox.
