Obituary for Scotty Eskridge
Scotty Eskridge, age 73, of Knox, passed away on March 8, 2024, after a brief illness. Scotty was born on March 29, 1950 in Knox, Indiana to Victor and Avenell Eskridge.
Scotty travelled all over the world with the United States Air Force for 37 years. He received several medals and awards for his service. Scotty had a true love for the outdoors and especially his horses Stormy and Thunder. He was a long-time member of the Golden Horseshoe Saddle Club. Scotty loved to have coffee every morning and afternoon at Christos in Knox, where he had several friends. He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Walter and Michelle Eskridge, his sister Vickie and three grandchildren, Whitney (Jason) Lopez, Walter Jr., and Lacielynn Eskridge, a great granddaughter, Payton Lopez, a nephew Scott and niece Jamie, along with many, many friends.
Scotty was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Peggy.
A celebration of life will be held on May 25, 2024 at 10:00am (CT) at the Golden Horseshoe Saddle Club in Knox. M.C. Smtih Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements.
