Scott Kenneth Fus, age 49, of Dowagiac, Michigan, passed away March 20, 2022. Scott was born March 17, 1973 in Blue Island, Illinois. He was a Veteran having served in the United States Air Force in Desert Storm and then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree Cum Laude from DeVry University of Technology and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Illinois. He was currently self employed as a computer technician. In his spare time he loved tinkering with and riding his jet ski, snowmobile and boat. He is survived by his mother, Pamela A. Stolarek (Dennis) of Knox, Indiana, his grandmother, Mary Brown of Plymouth, Indiana, two sisters, Amy Sharp (Michael) of Monee, Illinois, and Kari Cappetto (Joe) of Mokena, Illinois, two brothers, Michael Stolarek (Heather) of Fort Mills, South Carolina and David Stolarek (Donna) of Frankfort, Illinois, ten nieces and nephews and one great niece. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth J. Fus. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 1-5pm (CT) at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL. A private burial will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois at a later date.
