Obituary for Sandra K. Wagers Ferris
Sandra Wagers Ferris, age 61, of Knox, Indiana passed away on June 14, 2024. Sandy was born September 30, 1962, in Knox, to Homer and Josephine Wagers. She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Wagers of Elkhart, Ashley Davidson of Knox and Alison Ferris of Indianapolis, and a son Smith Ferris of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Reigan, Owen, Ryan, Todd, Connor, Cameron and Madalynn, and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Jean Kawaguchi, Patty Lambert, Vickie Runkle and her brothers, Marcus Wagers and Thomas Wagers. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Paul “Doug” Wagers, James Wagers and Homer Ray Wagers, and her sister-in-law, Julie Wagers.
Sanda was a loving woman that would do anything for her family and opened her home many times to help struggling people. Her hobbies included gardening, and spending time in her pool. She will be very missed, and she will always have a place in her family’s heart and the history of Knox, Indiana.
