Obituary for Sandra K. Gentry
Sandra K. Gentry, age 78 of Knox, Indiana, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026 at her home. Sandra was born August 9, 1947 in Hamlet, Indiana to Donald Scarborough and Helen Singleton Scarborough, both deceased. She is survived by her sons, Donald Gentry of Knox, Mark Gentry (Brenda) of Knox, Richard Gentry (the late LaDonna) of Knox and Tad Gentry (Janelle) of Knox, a brother, Donald “Rick” Scarborough of Knox, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest “Ernie” Gentry, two sons, Scott Gentry (Monica) and Telly Gentry (Donna), a brother, Pete Ringle and a sister, Donna Sobieck. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
