Obituary for Roy Dean Bradley
Roy Dean Bradley, age 73, of Knox, passed away September 30, 2022. Born on June 9, 1949, to parents Harles Bradley and Jeannette Patton, both deceased. Roy married Alene Shepherd on April 6, 1968, he remarried Lydia Hudson on November 10, 2010, both preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death is stepfather Adrian Duncan, brother Jim Duncan, and brother James Duncan.
Roy is survived by his Son DeWayne (Jackie Bradley of Knox), Daughter Ann Bradley Knox, Son Matthew (Hayley) Bradley Sr. South Bend, Daughter/caretaker Octavia Reed, Grandchildren Skyra (Zac) Edmonds, Shayna (Clark) Dienema, Kaitlyn (Elisha) Yeck, Nathanial (Cheyannae) Mathes, Alexia Bradley, Isabel Bradley, Blake Bradley, Matthew Bradley Jr., Great Grandchildren Kaia Fry, Naia Burns, Abigail Clark, Gracie Edmonds, Elijah Bradley, Ezio Mathes and Serenity Mathes.
He loved his family especially his grandchildren, playing the guitar, Bluegrass music, camping, fishing, hunting, ham radio, going to festivals like "Feast of the hunters moon" and Bluegrass festivals. He worked for Bethlehem Steel from age 17.
A visitation service will be held Wednesday October 5, 2022, from 5-8pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox, IN. A funeral service will be held Thursday October 6, 2022, at 11am (CT), burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in North Judson, IN.
