Obituary for Rosalie Speckman

Rosalie Speckman, aged 88, of Knox, IN, passed away on February 17, 2024, in Valparaiso, IN. She was born on June 30, 1935, to parents Theodore and Charlotte Glowinski. Rosalie was an Air Force veteran specializing in Meteorology. After marrying, she devoted her life to her children. Throughout her life, she found special joy in the art of sewing and had a lifelong love of animals. She was also an extraordinary cook who delighted in trying new recipes. On May 25, 1958, she married John Speckman. She is survived by her children, Charlotte Gomez, Diane Speckman, and William (Suzanne) Speckman, along with five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Theodore, her son John, her grandson Brandon and her husband John Speckman. Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 1pm (CT), with visitation two hours prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will take place at the Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.
