Obituary for Roger S. Prybel

Roger S. Prybel, age 76, of Knox, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016. Roger was born March 7, 1940 in Chicago to Stephen and Ethel (Larsen) Prybylski, both deceased. He had worked for many years as an electrician and had served in the Indiana National Guard. He was a devoted volunteer firefighter having been a very active member of the Bass Lake California Township Fire Department for 53 years. He is survived by his daughters, Tracy Douglass and Shelly Chomicz, both of Chicago, five brothers and sisters and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers. Funeral services will be Friday, December 2, 2016 at 12 noon (CT), with visitation two hours prior to services at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Bass Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Bass Lake California Township Fire Dept.
