Obituary for Richard G. Reed
Richard G. Reed, age 87, Mishawaka, formerly of Knox, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020 at Golden Living Center in Mishawaka. Richard was born February 3, 1933 in Bay, Arkansas to Orville and Dessie (Mink) Reed, both deceased. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his children, Richard Reed Jr. of Arizona, Jerri Ann Fimble of New York, Cynthia Sadowski of Avon, IN, Mildred Stephan of Valparaiso, IN, and Tim Reed of Lafayette, IN, brothers and sisters, Anita Schomer of South Bend, IN, Carl Reed of Kentucky, Tom Reed of Arizona, Betty Reed of Mishawaka, IN and Elsie Bucher of Mishawaka, IN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Farar Reed in February 2009. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 7pm (CT), with visitation two hours prior to services at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox.
