Richard E. Drang Sr., age 82, of Ora, Indiana passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026. Richard was born February 2, 1944 in Ora to Frank and Agnes (Marszalek) Drang, both deceased. He is survived by his children Frank Drang of Warsaw, Richard Drang Jr. of Rome City and Jenny Drang of Kokomo, and three grandchildren, Nicole, Taylor and Tanner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Drang and his siblings, Francis Drang, Mildred Gaines, John Drang, James Drang and Bob Drang.
There will be a funeral service on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 1pm (CT), with visitation two hours prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. Burial will follow at the Heinemann Cemetery in Ora.
