Obituary for Richard D. Geller Sr.
Richard D. Geller SR., age 73, of Monterey, IN, passed away June 2, 2015. Richard was born August 19, 1941 in Griffith, IN, to Leroy and Reba (Barnett) Geller, both deceased. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Paulette (Striker) Geller, His children, Richard (Dawn) Geller Jr. of Apache Jct. AZ, Anthony W. (Brenda) Geller of Knox, Carol S. (Larry) Geller of Knox, Ann M. Armes of Knox, Daniel (Amber) Bendt of Walkerton, Joyce Bendt of Knox, Kathryn (Chuck) Galbreath of Knox, Linda (Jeremy) Brantley of Walkerton, brothers and sisters Pete (Laura Hall) Geller of Culver, Nancy Dell of Macy, William (Lori) Geller of Culver, Reba (Dennis) Derryberry Akron, IN an 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Richard was a veteran of the U.S. army surviving from 1958 to 1960. He worked for Sprint Telephone company for 31 years and retired in 1997. He was also a Volunteer fireman for the Washington Township fire department for 25 years. Visitation will be Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 4-8pm at the M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, June 5, 2015 at 11:00am at the M.C. Smith funeral Home.
