Obituary for Rebecca "Becky" Cornelius
Rebecca "Becky" Cornelius, age 53, of Knox, passed away in the company of her family and loved ones on Sunday, January 21, 2024.
Becky was a free spirit and fierce friend, mother and wife. The daughter of the late Ron and Glenda Warner, she was born in October 13, 1970 and raised in Knox, Indiana.
Becky attended Knox High School before attending Indiana university of South Bend to major in Business. She used her education and aptitude for accounting to help a number of local businesses and organizations throughout her years of employment.
She was a devoted daughter, assisting in her parents' business and serving as a loving caretaker in their later years.
Becky loved to camp with friends and family and spent many summers playing a game of cards while a campfire illuminated the campsite late into the night.
She was also a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded by her son, Jason Douglas Cornelius Jr., and her parents, Ron and Glenda Warner. She is survived by her husband, Jason Cornelius, her son Jacob Cornelius, daughters, Kathryn Lynch and Alicia Banta as well as her grandchildren, Kaydence Lynch, Harlan Lynch, Weston Lynch, Mackenzie Banta, Emery Banta, Amareya Banta, and Jackson Banta, and her sister, Wendy Korp.
