Obituary for Patricia R. Fuka
Patricia R. Fuka, age 78, of Knox, passed away Monday, May 18, 2020 at LaPorte Hospital.
Patricia was born September 6, 1941 in Chicago to Raymond Bartgen and Violet Cerney
Bartgen, both deceased. On November 21, 1964 she married Lawrence Fuka. She spent most
of her life as a homemaker and raising her children, but she did realize a lifelong dream when
she earned an Associate Degree from Ancilla College. She is survived by her husband Lawrence, her children, William Fuka (Connie) of Plymouth, Laurie Hitchens of Knox, Pamela Fuka of Knox and Lisa Snyder (Rodney) of Knox, a sister, Judy Schuler of Carlsbad, CA, brothers, Robert Bartgen of Knox and Raymond Bartgen Jr. of Bollingbrook, IL, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Bartgen. A funeral service will take place Friday, May 22, 2020 at 2:00pm (CT), with visitation three hours prior, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox.
