Obituary for Patricia G. Wentz
Patricia G. Wentz, age 79, of Knox, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015. Pat was born November 4, 1935 in Chicago, IL to John and Mary (Wilson) Laffey, both deceased. On December 24, 1953 she married Norman Wentz Sr., he survives. Also surviving are their children, Norman Wentz Jr. (Janet) of Knox, John Wentz (Julie) of Florida, and Donna Walter of Indianapolis, brothers, John Kane of Anderson, IN and Charles Laffey of Indianapolis, and a sister, Marlene Shaffer of Nevada, grandchildren, Jennifer, Nick, Ashli, Scott, Teelier, Shawn, Miriah, Zachary, and Matthew, great grandchildren, Crew and Connor. She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Exilda Loots, George Roussell, Gail Schultz, Richard McElwee, Charlene Laffey, Mary Byer and Margaret Allen, and a granddaughter, Onna Seese. A celebration of life will take place Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 1:00pm (CT), with visitation one hour prior to services, at Eagle Creek Church in Knox. Interment is private. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
