Obituary for Monica E. Singleton McCrum
Monica E. Singleton McCrum, age 78, of Knox, formerly of North Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Monica was born April 19, 1943 in North Liberty, to Emery Singleton and Bernardina Wesolek Singleton, both deceased. She had worked for many years at Our Lady of Holy Cross in dietary services. She is survived by her son, Shawn McCrum of Etna Green, IN, and her grandchildren, Tiffany Duran, Raymond Duran, Cameron Duran, Kaitlyn Duran, Erik Duran, Blake Littleton, Roxxana Littleton, Stephanie McCrum and Brandon McCrum, and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Duran, a granddaughter, Sydney Littleton, a sister, Rita Freese and a brother, John Singleton. A funeral service will take place Monday, March 14, 2022 at 1:00pm (CT), with visitation two hours prior to the services, at M. C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
