Lori Elder Forsythe was born May 13, 1962 to Chet and Billie Jean Elder. She married Sam Forsythe on October 11, 1994. Her memory carries on through her 7 children, Brad, Shane, April, Catherine, Samantha, Julieann, and Eve. Along with 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, her siblings Margie, Doris, Chet, Fern, William, Michael, Kenny, Jim, their families, and numerous others. Preceded in passing were her parents, two brothers, Chet and Michael, and her husband Sam. She passed on February 22, 2026 surrounded by loved ones with a heart full of love.
A funeral service will take place at 3pm (CT) on Friday, February 27, 2026 with visitation starting one hour prior to services at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox.
