Obituary for Loretta Alice Brooke
Loretta Alice Brooke, age 82, of North Judson, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at her home. Loretta was born December 13, 1935 in Chicago, to Phillip V. Konrad and Esther Wennerberg Konrad, both deceased. She was a member of the St. Peters Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Ladies Aide, and had been a Sunday School Teacher, and she enjoyed cooking. In March of 1956, in Chicago, she married Harold Brooke, he survives. Also surviving are her children, Wayne L. Brooke of North Judson and Deborah A. Brooke of North Judson, a sister, Suzanne Crider of North Judson, 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip W. Konrad. Visitation will take place Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 3-7pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 11am (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Round Lake Cemetery.
