Obituary for Linda Sue Jacobs

Linda Sue Jacobs, age 68, of Shelby Township, Michigan, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025. Linda was born November 22, 1956 in Knox, Indiana to Floyd Earnest and Inez Osborn Earnest. She loved gardening and flowers, visiting thrift stores, even if she didn’t want to buy anything, on-line puzzle games, and spending time with her family, especially her twin sister. She is survived by her sons, David Trusty of Missouri and Brandon Jacobs of Michigan, her twin sister, Brenda McDaniel of Knox, brothers, Larry Earnest of Knox, Steve Earnest of Knox, and Mike Earnest of New Carlisle. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Floyd Earnest Jr. and Terry Earnest, and a sister, Peggy Earnest.

Visitation will take place from 11am to 1pm (CT) Monday, April 28, 2025 at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox, a graveside service will follow at 1:30pm (CT) at Round Lake Cemetery in Knox.
