Obituary for Linda F. Houston
Linda F. Houston, age 64, of Knox, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Linda was born February 21, 1957 in Knox, to JB Howard and Alma Mullins Howard, both deceased. She was a huge Knox Redskins fan and loved attending ball games, she had spent many years working as a Deputy Auditor at the Starke County Auditors Office, and she especially loved spending time with her grandkids and her grand-puppies. On July 21, 1979 she married Jack Houston, he survives. Also surviving are her children, Brian Houston of Knox and Ashley Singleton (Tyler) of Knox, her two grandchildren, Aiden Houston and Parker Singleton, and sisters and brothers, Brenda Fine of Arizona, Dennis Howard of Knox, Steve Howard of Tennessee, Cheryl Winkler of Grovertown, and David Howard of Knox.
A funeral service will take place Monday, September 13, 2021 at 1:00pm (CT) at the Bible Baptist Church in Knox, with visitation two hours prior to services. Burial will follow at Round Lake Cemetery. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
